IRC Alerts

IRC Alert is a bi-monthly publication of the Information Resource Center. Each issue usually has the following four sections:

FOCUS

The Focus section is comprised of a short essay to introduce a timely topic and also includes selected articles, speeches, reports and web sites on that topic.

ARTICLE ALERT: A Selection of Latest Articles

The Article Alert contains abstracts of significant articles selected from current American magazines and newspapers. They represent a variety of opinions on issues that may be of interest. The views expressed in the articles are those of the authors. A maximum of five articles may be photocopied free of charge upon request to the IRC by mail, email or fax.

Note: To comply with the international copyright law, we have placed an asterisk (*) next to item number of articles from periodicals for which we have no clearance to copy. If you would like to read them, please fax, e-mail or write to the Information Resource Center Director, Islamabad.

DOCUMENT ALERT: Latest Relevant Reports

The Document Alert brings to your attention current U.S. Government documents and think tank reports that are either part of the current holdings at the Information Resource Center or available full-text on the Internet.

VIDEO ALERT: Latest additions in the IRC Video collection

IRC has a collection of latest and updated titles in its video collection, which are available to universities, associations, NGOs, companies, media, groups and IRC institutional members for viewing. The videos cover a wide-range of topics including geography, government, society, culture and life. If your organization has an interest in viewing of any video title, please contact the Information Resource Center, Islamabad.
